In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.
BAE Systems is looking for a Process Engineer on the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) operations Tech Ops team. This position will support multiple factories in Nashua, NH including the OPTIMA factory once necessary clearances have been obtained.
The Position will include the following duties:
- Designs, develops, maintains and improves manufacturing processes and procedures while supporting production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, and applicable material handling.
- Designs, specifies and acquires fixtures, tools and equipment required to support manufacturing.
- Works closely with operations teams to disposition Non-Conformances and playing a key role in driving systemic manufacturing defects to root cause and implements corrective actions.
- Works with operations teams on producibility, affordability and process improvements. Actively supports or completes PPV/FAI.
- Works closely with other functions such as supply chain, quality engineering and program engineering teams.
The individual will work in both office spaces and production environment supporting the factory full time onsite.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline or 2+years work experience.
- Experience working in a factory setting.

- Solid communication, teamwork and integration know-how will be required to work effectively across functions at multiple levels.
- Exhibit sound judgment, initiative, and self-motivation and be able to complete tasks with minimal guidance.
- Must be hands on and prepared to roll up your sleeves and work closely with assemblers, inspectors, test technicians, and peer design, manufacturing, or test engineers to work complex issues to closure.
- Confident with office applications and data analysis using excel, Minitab, or equivalent.
- Secret Clearance preferred. Ability to obtain Secret security clearance acceptable.
- Manage time effectively while dealing with a variety of issues in a dynamic environment.
