Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking an associate to join our Energy Transactional practice group in the Houston office. We are seeking candidates with 4 to 6 years of experience in energy transactions, with an emphasis on upstream and/or midstream matters such as gathering, processing, transportation, storage, fractionation and other midstream commercial agreements; acquisition and divestiture; joint ventures; development agreements; and financing arrangements. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting experience, a commitment to teamwork, and the ability to independently manage discrete components of deals.

This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in a national energy transactional practice and to participate in sophisticated energy matters. The salary range for this position is $295,000 - $350,000, dependent on years of experience.
