ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB is seeking a visionary Energy Engineering Lead to spearhead our growing Energy Evolution Practice | VHB. Join a dynamic, collaborative team at the forefront of transformative projects, including substation expansions and rebuilds, transmission, renewable energy development, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

This is your opportunity to lead impactful projects and shape the future of energy while working with a diverse group of clients, stakeholders, and communities to achieve ambitious clean energy goals.

Responsibilities
  • Design substation structures and foundations.
  • Collaborate with multidiscipline internal and external project teams.
  • Develop/review civil/structural engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and specifications.
  • Document and track action items and deliverables.
  • Procure major/minor civil/structural materials and prepare material takeoffs.
  • Monitor project financial performance.
  • Perform field visits and site inspections.
  • Manage work and professional development of junior-level staff
  • Manage small, medium, and large projects
  • Develop new project opportunities and assist with proposal development and submissions

Qualifications
