Position ProfileWeaver is seeking talented professionals to join our growing Energy Compliance Services (ECS) team. Weaver's ECS practice is dedicated to helping businesses navigate compliance with evolving regulations, including regulations governed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board, as well as other various states and provinces. Many of the environmental programs we focus on within our ECS practice are rooted in managing the human impact on the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing sustainability. We have substantial expertise and experience with transportation fuel regulations, including petroleum-based fuels as well as renewable fuels.
The ECS Regulatory Consulting Services Director will be responsible for
- Serving as a subject-matter resource and provide technical direction for FuelRules
- Providing direct support to FuelRules subscribers and maintain a consistently high level of response quality
- Overseeing the FuelRules product roadmap and identify opportunities for continued product enhancements and improvements
- Providing clear direction and priorities to the development team in support of FuelRules product enhancements
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the FuelRules program
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications and skills are requested:
- 7+ years of experience related to energy compliance (clean fuels regulations)
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree preferred (i.e. MBA)
- Posses technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff in a wide variety of areas and projects
- Strong management skills with proven ability to manage and develop staff
- Experience developing training, methodologies, and tools
- Strong client relationship management and business advisory experience
- Experience leading and managing client engagements from planning through completion
- Technical knowledge of laws and regulations within Energy Compliance Services (ECS)
- Business development and marketing experience, including identifying new service opportunities
- Experience preparing and presenting client proposals
