Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:

The End User Services (EUS) department provides IT support and customer service to all including but not limited to; RCHSD staff, physicians, clinics, programs, clinical staff, etc. located throughout the RCHSD Enterprise. The role of the EUS System Administrator is to manage various systems utilized throughout the end user environment and serve as a senior escalation point to the End User Support Specialist team within the EUS department. Individual will collaborate with peers and across departments for assigned project tasks and deliverables, implementation of new software, upgrades, and integration. Will also need to coordinate system downtime(s) related to maintenance and report this information in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) forum so affected Users and Leaders are aware.

This is a Tier 3 position that requires a clear understanding of systems functionality. Will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, peripheral, audio visual, and software application issues. Individuals will work with limited supervision over assignments so should be highly organized and detailed. Position requires availability after hours to support and maintain up time of key production systems.

In addition to the items listed above, this position will be responsible for providing guidance to the Tier 2 - EUS Desktop Support specialists on tickets, short- and long-term systems solutions and workarounds, device support, application access and any other support coverage as dictated by IT management and business needs. They will also serve as a backup to their peers to assist in maintaining system reliability/service level operational standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

2 Years of Experience

CA Driver's License

CompTIA A+ Certification

Proof of Auto Insurance

4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Ability to understand and add, modify or troubleshoot all end user devices (examples; smart phones, tablets, PCs, Thin Clients, wireless scanners and printers), hardware, software, etc. and manage issues through resolution.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to travel 25% throughout San Diego and Riverside counties, by use of company fleet vehicles and personal vehicle use.

Experience supporting desktop operating systems such as Windows 10, 11, MAC OS, Linux, and Chrome OS. Experience managing and troubleshooting virtual software deployment tools (exp; VDI solutions, AWS, Nutanix, Azure) and experience managing Thin Clients via Dell Wyse console is a plus.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect networks from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.

Ability to troubleshoot incidents and manage to resolution.

Ability to recognize the best approach to coaching and training peers and other RCHSD staff. This includes but is not limited to delivering training on systems, job shadowing, peer feedback.

Oversight of system access, security, data capture/integrity and information workflow for infrastructure such as: Printer servers, File shares, Intune, SCCM, WDM, Intune, Imprivata Cortex and Lansweeper.

Ability to manage print services. This includes administration of common Print server tasks such as driver updates, add/remove/modification of devices as needed, familiar with printer protocols (exp. SMP, IPP, Socket), and installation of hardware and copiers.

Innovative. Looks for ways to improve the current operations and propose technical solutions to the correct audience. Automates routine work through scripting or other tools available.

Ability to make system wide changes using the appropriate tools.

Experience administering systems such as; Active Directory, File shares, Print Servers, O365, MIST, Intune, Cisco ISE, Company Portal, Network monitoring tools (exp; Lansweeper and NexThink), and SCCM/MCEM.

Solutions oriented, customer focused, and have excellent interpersonal/communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Administrator, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator

ITIL 4 Certification, Microsoft Fundamentals, Microsoft PowerShell scripting

Thorough understanding of challenges commonly encountered in a healthcare environment such as HIPAA compliance, Joint Commission, and best practices regarding patient safety management and security management of health records and information.

Healthcare experience

The current salary range for this position is $41.49 to $57.05
