Full Job Description
Architects, designs and provides technical oversight of the development of Intel GPU AI software. Scope spans the entire stack including firmware, drivers, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and/or applications. Interacts with technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development. This role will interface regularly with architects of relevant components, engineers, management as well as be available to cross functional partners like product management, Systems, and SoC. Responsible for ensuring that the software stack is built to meet the requirements outlined for the product in terms of supported workloads, capabilities needed, performance, stability, and ease of use. Responsible for key technical design decisions, and will ensure that they are well thought out, documented, and communicated across teams.
As a principal engineer, recognized as a domain expert who influences and drives technical direction across Intel and industry. Develops and mentors other technical leaders, grows the community, acts as a change agent, and role models Intel values. Aligns organizational goals with technical vision, formulates technical strategy to deliver leadership solutions, and demonstrates a track record of relentless execution in bringing products and technologies to market.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelors in EE, CS, or equivalent
-10 years experience with Software architecture
-5 years experience with AI Software architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience working on a GPU or AI Accelerator product
-Strong communication skills
-Experience working with communication libraries, compiler technologies, and AI frameworks

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $292,910.00-413,520.00 USD
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
