Position Overview:The Encompass Software Engineer is responsible for ensuring applications operate efficiently and providing production support, data research, code analysis and web / windows development work including enhancements and hot fixes in alignment with project implementation timelines and collaborate with the stakeholders as necessary to achieve project goals.

- Maintain programming skills with significant experience working with:
- Batch Processing
- Document Generation 6 PDFs, Word Templates
- Data exchange formats 6 CSV, XML, JSON, or binary file formats
- Data transfers through: HTTP, SFTP (SSL)
- Maintain knowledge of Microsoft .Net technologies - primarily focused on C# development including:
- .Net
- Linq
- OOPS Programming
- Entity Framework
- Encompass API
- JavaScript
- Windows / Console Applications
- Develop Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and the design, functioning, and troubleshooting include:
- TSQL
- CRUD - DML and DDL
- SSIS
- Encompass SDK
Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor 27s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years 27 .NET Development experience.
- Prior experience in diverse technology environments.
- Consumer mortgage and lending experience 6 .NET platform, a plus.
- Experience working on or leading an agile/scrum team.
- Experience working with Encompass SDK / API, a plus.
- Experience working with AZURE, AWS (EC2 and RDS), JIRA, TFS, Bit Bucket, GIT, preferred.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft IIS stack, including application deployment, configuration management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of web-based applications and services.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess new and unfamiliar issues and work through potential solutions, issues, and risks.
- Skilled in evaluating and countering alternative ideas and representing reasoning.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
