Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of labor and employment defense litigation from inception through resolution
  • Manage and supervise multiple attorneys and legal staff within a collaborative team environment
  • Defend employers in a broad range of employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, single-plaintiff and class/collective actions, and discrimination claims
  • Conduct and oversee appearances in both Federal and State courts
  • Represent clients in investigations and proceedings before the U.S. Department of Labor, EEOC, and state/local agencies
  • Provide strategic counseling and risk management advice to clients on employment matters
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the practice group

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney with a strong background in labor and employment defense litigation to step into a leadership role within a nationally recognized firm. The ideal candidate will bring strategic litigation experience, strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, and a commitment to exceptional client service. Portable business will be considered but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of labor and employment defense litigation from inception through resolution
  • Manage and supervise multiple attorneys and legal staff within a collaborative team environment
  • Defend employers in a broad range of employment matters, including:
    • Wage and hour disputes
    • Single-plaintiff and class/collective actions
    • Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims
  • Conduct and oversee appearances in both Federal and State courts
  • Represent clients in investigations and proceedings before the:
    • U.S. Department of Labor
    • EEOC
    • State and local human rights agencies
  • Provide strategic counseling and risk management advice to clients on employment-related matters
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the practice group

Base Salary Range: $190k -$300k
