Description

Summary

RiVidium Inc. is seeking an Employee & Labor Relations Specialist to advise NNSA management on complex federal employee and labor relations matters, including disciplinary and adverse actions, administrative grievances, anti-harassment matters, and reasonable accommodation requests. The position prepares legally defensible documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable federal statutes, regulations, and case law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise management on employee and labor relations matters.
  • Support disciplinary and adverse actions.
  • Draft proposed and decision letters and related case documentation.
  • Prepare Douglas Factor analyses and administrative grievance responses.
  • Conduct anti-harassment management inquiries.
  • Prepare investigation reports and recommendations.
  • Process reasonable accommodation requests.
  • Maintain confidential employee relations case files and logs.
  • Protect sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Apply applicable federal statutes, regulations, and case law.


Required Qualifications
  • 7 years of professional federal employee and labor relations experience.
  • At least 5 years applying 5 U.S.C., Title 5 CFR, MSPB case law, EEOC decisions, and FLRA regulations.
  • Experience drafting disciplinary/adverse action documentation and grievance responses.
  • Experience with anti-harassment inquiries and reasonable accommodation matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Public Administration, or related field, or Juris Doctor.

Preferred
  • SPHR, SHRM-CP, or specialized Federal Employee/Labor Relations certification.
