Job Summary

As a part of the larger organizational development team, the Manager of Employee Experience is directly responsible for designing, delivering and continuously improving corporate training and employee experience initiatives that improve performance and bring our culture to life. This role owns a portfolio that spans national learning activations, employee development, and enterprise engagement programs, ensuring each initiative is accessible, measurable, and aligned to Camden's values. The Manager of Employee Experience reports to the Director of Employee Experience and is responsible for promoting and acting in accordance with our Camden values to ensure our culture of workplace excellence is experienced by all team members.

Essential Functions
  • Manages all corporate training delivery, including the rollout, adoption, and ongoing enablement of enterprise initiatives in addition to communication and teaming effectiveness training.
  • Designs, develops and delivers corporate training programs that support employee development, leader effectiveness, technology adoption, and enterprise engagement priorities.
  • Responsible for managing the Learning Technology Specialist, including providing regular coaching, feedback, development, and performance support to strengthen capabilities and ensure meaningful contribution to team and organizational goals.
  • Regularly reports on Camden's national training initiatives, including progress, participation, outcomes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partners closely with Training Specialists to coordinate reporting, gather insights, and ensure accurate tracking of training initiatives for which this role is responsible.
  • Facilitates corporate training and programming
  • Leads CultureConnection as a peer-led network that fosters belonging and engagement across all markets.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, prioritize to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and be a team player.
  • Partners with Corporate Leadership to define development gaps and recommend corresponding training solutions for team members.
  • Ensures training and activation align with individual, department and company goals.
  • Anticipates, identifies and plans for obstacles or barriers to learning and performance support solutions.
  • Ensures all programming is embedded with Camden values.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in identifying performance solutions and facilitating for large groups
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and translate complex information into clear, practical learning experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence and executive presence.
  • Experience leading large-scale programs with multiple components and cross-functional partners.
  • Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training and engagement programs from development through delivery.
  • Familiarity with modern workplace technologies (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and the ability to drive adoption across a broad employee population.
  • Results-oriented leader committed to "meeting people where they are," with the ability to translate strategy into actionable, measurable, and achievable plans.
