Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team in Denver, CO!

The Employee Benefits Account Executive is to Retain business by servicing and managing client and prospective client relationships through collaboration with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve client satisfaction.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Establish, cultivate and manage customer relations with client and prospective decision-makers; as well as professional relationships with carrier partners, and internal resources throughout the organization.

  • Plan and direct renewal process for health and life coverages. Recommend the most appropriate insurance solutions, alternative strategies, plan modeling and cost reduction opportunities.

  • Ensure renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance requirements are documented into the agency management system.

  • Conduct strategic planning sessions with clients as defined in annual service goals and objectives.

  • Routinely educate clients on benefits legislation, regulatory requirements, compliance, and new product information.

  • Identify, develop, and oversee customer needs and service plans for each client to ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.

  • Manage resolution of client issues as well as escalated employee enrollment and claims issues.

  • Prepare and execute stewardship reports and new business strategies, including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreement with customer’s requests/requirements.

  • Support sales team with new business strategies, prospect meetings and implementation of new clients.

  • Promote a commitment to achieve or exceed internal and external performance standards and department/agency goals.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid Health, Accident and Life Insurance Producer license in good standing.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • Proficient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.

  • Proficient knowledge in use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)

  • 6+ years progressive experience in account management or sales.

  • College Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience (preferred).

  • Professional Designation specific to area of specialty (preferred).

Pay Range

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
