Employed Pediatric Anesthesiologist - Bakersfield, CA | Join a Growing ProgramBuild Something Meaningful from the Ground UpCoachella Valley Anesthesia, in partnership with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, is launching a new pediatric anesthesia program and seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to help establish and grow this important service line. This is a unique opportunity to shape a program from its foundation while joining a strong, well-supported anesthesia team within a rapidly expanding regional hospital.
Position Highlights- Opportunity to help build and lead a new pediatric anesthesia service line

- Dedicated specialty support teams including cardiac, OB, and regional anesthesia
- Strong administrative and clinical infrastructure supporting program launch and growth
- Employed position with long-term stability and organizational support
Compensation & Benefits- Annual salary of $650,000
- 6 weeks of paid time off
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Opportunity for additional income through participation in the general anesthesia schedule (optional)
Call Responsibilities- One weekday of pediatric call per week
- One weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday) of pediatric call per month
- Additional general anesthesia call opportunities available for physicians interested in increasing earnings, but participation is not required
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology required
- Eligible for or active California medical licensure
