Qualifications

• 5-7 years of veterinary experience, particularly in emergency or critical care settings.
• Preferred experience with surgical procedures.
• Strong communication skills are essential for client and team interactions.
• Proficient in mathematical calculations related to pharmaceuticals and veterinary care.
• Flexibility in work schedule with a willingness to work extra hours when needed.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Clinical Services team during shifts, including task assignments and resource sharing.
• Communicate with the Clinical Manager about team performance and scheduling issues.
• Train and mentor new team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with other departments to address patient and client needs effectively.
• Respond to client concerns and emergency situations promptly as a first-level responder.
• Participate in management meetings to contribute to departmental goals and strategies.
• Address and mitigate employee issues and process challenges during shifts.
