The Lions Gate Hospital Emergency Physician Association (LGHEPA) is looking for Provisional Emergency Physicians to join our team. Full time and part time options are available. Preference will be given to those seeking a full-time position, but all interested parties are invited to apply, both FRCPs and CCFPs(EM).

We service the North Shore and Sea to Sky corridor, seeing a diverse patient population including pediatrics, acute medicine, and geriatrics. Our hospital sees about 73,000 patients/year. LGH is a level 3 trauma center, and is affiliated with the UBC Department of Emergency Medicine, providing teaching to medical students and residents (CCFP-EM rotation site). We have a mentorship program for junior members, yearly retreats and a sabbatical program to encourage balance in our work and personal lives. We have a cohesive group of physicians who are dedicated to continuing education. We provide opportunities to teach and participate in the SIM program, procedure course, and in-house physician led ACLS, PALS, NRP courses. We also have regular Patient Safety rounds, Trauma rounds and Journal Club.

We are looking for hard working applicants who are willing to innovate, co-create and support our emergency medical service delivery through the Sea to Sky corridor. We are a cohesive team and our group has excellent relationships with our consultants, as well as enthusiastic, dedicated nurses and allied health services.
