Job Summary:
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking an experienced, full-time Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Emergency Medicine Team in Fort Pierce, Florida and its Free-Standing Emergency Department in Vero Beach.
Qualified Candidates
• Must be board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Emergency Medicine APP experience
• Available to work 3pm - 3am
Emergency Department Profile
• Level II Trauma Center
• 100,000+ annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in pediatric ED
• 42-bed ED including 5 fast-track plus 5 monitored beds
• 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric
• 70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED)
• 60 hours of APP coverage
• 26% admission rate
• Comprehensive Stroke facility with bi-plane
• Interventional cardiac cath facility
• Several dedicated ED glide scopes and ultrasound
• 24-hour in-house Hospitalist and Intensivists
