Job Title: Embedded Software Development Engineer

Job Summary:
Seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer with experience developing firmware for embedded medical devices or other highly regulated industries. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and optimizing embedded software using C/C++, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the complete embedded software development lifecycle using pair programming and collaborative development practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality firmware for embedded medical device applications.
  • Integrate software components and third-party libraries into embedded systems.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and software quality best practices.
  • Analyze and optimize firmware performance to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement, debug, and tune firmware algorithms.
  • Conduct firmware and hardware integration testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
  • Collaborate with product management, hardware engineering, QA, and other cross-functional teams to deliver new product features.
  • Maintain software using GitHub-based source control and configuration management.
