POSITION SUMMARYThe Email Marketing Manager will be a critical contributor within Rubrik's Digital Marketing team, owning end-to-end execution of email marketing programs that drive pipeline and revenue. Sitting at the intersection of demand generation and digital media, this role is responsible for email nurture strategy, batch/blast campaigns, paid email placements, paid digital advertising support, and paid newsletter sponsorships. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a strong command of marketing automation, analytics, and cross-functional execution.
What You'll DoEmail Nurture Programs- Design, build, and optimize multi-touch email nurture sequences that guide prospects through the buyer journey.
- Partner with content, demand gen, and sales development to develop audience segmentation and personalization strategies.
- Monitor engagement metrics and apply A/B testing to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion.
Email Blasts & Campaign Execution- Manage end-to-end production and deployment of batch email campaigns, including list segmentation, QA, scheduling, and reporting.
- Coordinate with field marketing, content, and product teams to align email sends with campaign calendars and product launches.
- Ensure all campaigns adhere to CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other applicable email compliance standards.
Paid Email & Paid Newsletters- Own Rubrik's paid email placements with third-party publishers and media vendors, including negotiating placements, briefing creative, and measuring ROI.
- Manage paid newsletter sponsorships across industry publications targeting security, IT, and cloud audiences.
- Track spend, pacing, and performance across paid email programs and report results to stakeholders.
Paid Ads Support- Collaborate with the paid media team to align email and paid ad messaging, landing pages, and audience targeting.
- Support retargeting and account-based programs that span email and paid channels.
Analytics & Reporting- Build and maintain dashboards to track email program performance, including pipeline influence, engagement, and list health.
- Present regular performance reviews to Digital Marketing leadership with data-backed insights and optimization recommendations.
Experience You'll Need- 7+ years of B2B email marketing experience, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
- Hands-on expertise managing email campaigns in Marketo, including smart campaigns, program templates, and engagement programs.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for lead management, campaign attribution, and pipeline reporting.
- Experience building and interpreting dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau.
- Comfortable working across G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for day-to-day collaboration and documentation.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, lead lifecycle stages, and email deliverability best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a high-velocity environment.
- Excellent written communication skills with a high attention to detail for copy, layout, and QA.
- Experience managing vendor relationships for paid email and newsletter programs.
- Tools- Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau, G Suite
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing workflows using Anthropic's Claude or similar LLM tools for content ideation, personalization at scale, and campaign analysis.
- Experience with Jira or similar project management tools for tracking campaign deliverables and cross-functional work.
- Knowledge of Knak or comparable email design platforms for template creation and brand-compliant email builds.
- Hands-on experience with TransPerfect or other localization/translation management platforms for global campaign execution.
- Working knowledge of ZoomInfo for contact data enrichment, audience building, and intent-based targeting.
- Background in account-based marketing (ABM) with exposure to ABM platforms and tiered account strategies.
- Experience with paid media platforms (LinkedIn, Google, 6sense, or similar) as a complement to email programs.

$144,400-$216,600 USD
