Position Overview: - Deliver specialized instruction and intervention services to elementary students with diverse learning needs through a combination of inclusive classroom support and small-group/individualized instruction.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs), using student data to drive instructional decisions and measure progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure students receive appropriate academic and behavioral supports.
- Provide targeted interventions in foundational literacy and mathematics skills to help students access grade-level curriculum and achieve academic growth.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate Educational Needs) or ability to obtain licensure before start date
- Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Developmental Delays (DD), and other diverse learning needs (Preferred)
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based literacy and math interventions
