Position Overview
Provide comprehensive support services to elementary students, building essential social, emotional, and behavioral skills that support student success.
Identify and mitigate academic, social, and emotional hurdles through targeted individual counseling and group sessions.
Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to develop and implement appropriate student support strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable educational policies, procedures, and student support plans.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
Valid Michigan School Social Worker License and (310) Certification
Experience working with children in an elementary school or educational setting preferred
