This position will serve Broadmeadow Elementary School and Eliot Elementary School.

Job Description:

The occupational therapist provides related services in the area of occupational therapy in accordance with student Individual Education Programs, as well as conducts special education student evaluations, and tiered general education supports. Individual and small group therapy sessions will focus on fine motor development and sensory processing. Consultation will be provided to educational teams including general education teachers to ensure full access to learning opportunities. Family communication and engagement will support opportunities for progress monitoring of application and generalization of skills. Occupational Therapists will participate in the development of individual education programs, data collection, and completion of progress reports. In addition to the work outlined above, this position may help support the district's specialized programs for students with more intensive needs, including the ILC, LBC, and Connections.

Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree
• Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with diverse students including those with ASD, intellectual impairment, neurological impairment, elevated social-emotional and behavioral needs, and developmental delays.

Salary is determined by education and experience, ranging from Bachelor's (Step 1) $63,217 to Doctorate (Step 14) $133,922 (This range is based on a 1.0 FTE).
