The Opportunity:
The Electronics Integration Specialist supports the design, integration, fabrication, and testing of electrical subsystems and circuit card assemblies across a range of prototype and low-rate production hardware platforms. This role serves as a hands-on technical contributor working closely with engineering teams to develop, integrate, and validate electrical systems in support of rapid prototyping and mission-driven development efforts.

The position bridges electrical engineering and fabrication by combining subsystem integration, PCB population, and system-level troubleshooting, while contributing to design refinement, documentation development, and overall system performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the integration, fabrication, and modification of electrical subsystems, including wiring harnesses, PCB assemblies, and embedded hardware
  • Provide technical input to engineering designs, including component selection, layout considerations, and integration approaches
  • Install, route, and integrate electrical components such as connectors, sensors, power distribution modules, control systems, and communication devices
  • Perform system-level diagnostics and root cause analysis across electrical subsystems and integrated hardware platforms
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts to support integration and troubleshooting efforts
  • Support PCB population and rework activities, including fine-pitch and surface-mount components, in accordance with design and quality requirements
  • Operate and maintain PCB assembly equipment, including pick-and-place systems, to support prototype and low-rate production builds
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams, build procedures, and technical data packages (TDPs)
  • Support configuration management efforts by maintaining accurate build records, test data, and revision tracking
  • Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering teams to support subsystem integration and overall system performance
  • Support system testing, integration events, and field activities as required

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting electrical systems, PCB assemblies, or complex electromechanical hardware
  • Demonstrated experience with electrical integration, PCB population, and subsystem-level troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB assembly drawings
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit behavior, and power distribution fundamentals
  • Experience with soldering, harness fabrication, and connector termination in an engineering or prototyping environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment

Desired:
  • Active DoD security clearance
  • Experience supporting prototype development, rapid prototyping, or low-rate production environments
  • Experience with PCB rework and component-level diagnostics
  • Familiarity with RF systems, communication hardware, or embedded systems
  • IPC certifications (e.g., IPC-610, J-STD-001)
  • Experience supporting integration, test events, or field operations
  • Familiarity with configuration management practices and technical documentation development
