Job DescriptionThe Electronics Engineer V demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgement in planning, organizing, and guiding highly complex programs and activities. This position also leads in the development of standards and guidelines, design concepts for engineering problems, and leads technical projects, monitors project scope, and responds to engineering concerns.
Compensation: $156334 -$200000
Responsibilities• Lead the development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and work instructions
• Lead engineering development efforts for new projects with support from a multidisciplinary team
• Lead proposal generation in response to customer RFIs & RFQs which will include technical summaries, cost assessments, and schedule estimates
• Lead the development of new hardware prototypes to confirm manufacturability and performance levels
• Lead the development of internal design requirements
• Initiate and lead technical studies and projects
• Assist with project management and business development activities
QualificationsExperience:
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (14) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR (8) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. OR (5) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance
- Experience in a wide range of testing and test equipment for testing electronic boards and devices with the ability to independently troubleshoot test related issues and independently develop advanced specialized test methodologies
- CAD Software (Intermediate)
