Hours: 8am-4:40pm

Salary: $85k-95K

JOB SUMMARY :

The Electronic Product Design Engineer is responsible to design and develop electronic circuits and test methodologies for new products.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required:
  • Complete electronic design tasks applying sound engineering principles in a timely manner.
  • Participate in new product development brainstorming and review sessions.
  • Create and revise electrical design documentation.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and PCB designers.
  • Prototype, test, and debug designs.
  • Complete on and off-site testing of new products.
  • Design and build product and sub-assembly test systems.
  • Other duties as required.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Employee works under general supervision.
  • Employee exercises discretion within area of responsibility.
  • Employee advises others within the organization on matters within area of expertise.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • None.


REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Solid background in electrical engineering design principles.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • C/C++/Python skills preferred.
  • Background and experience in audio systems preferred.


  • Employee must be able to create advanced templates and linking complex databases, spreadsheets and other documents.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Specialized training or certification required.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
  • Occasional physical exertion including some lifting of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
