  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns quickly and safely
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMPs, regulatory requirements, and company procedures

About the Role
We are seeking a Specialist, Bakery-Maintenance to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Specialist, Bakery-Maintenance, you will be accountable for maintaining and optimizing plant electrical, mechanical, and control systems while leading troubleshooting efforts to reduce downtime and improve system reliability.

Shift & Schedule
Shift: 3rd Shift
Hours: 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM
Weekend availability: As needed

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $40.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot plant-wide electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems to ensure production continuity
  • Lead and coordinate Electro-Mechanic activities across shifts, including training and technical support
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures
  • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and utility systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical and control systems, including technical drawings and system records
  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns quickly and safely to support production uptime
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMPs, regulatory requirements, and company procedures

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant technical training or hands-on electro-mechanical experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs, single-line diagrams, control schematics)
  • Working knowledge of industrial control systems and PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work in environments with noise, temperature changes, and flour dust

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • Associate's degree (AS or AAS) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance software
  • Experience with machine installation and control system integration
  • Familiarity with bakery or food manufacturing environments
