Full Job Description
ID Technology is on the lookout for an Electro-Mechancial Engineer to provide dedicated engineering support for electromechanical assemblies and related product platforms. This role is responsible for supporting continuous product development, daily production needs, electrical controls integration, design changes, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to improve product quality, manufacturability, reliability, and on-time delivery.

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for assigned electromechanical assemblies and product platforms, including troubleshooting production, assembly, quality, and equipment-related issues.
• Support continuous design development, product improvements, new product variants, rapid prototyping, testing, validation, and implementation of Engineering Change Notices.
• Design, maintain, and improve electrical control systems, wiring layouts, control architectures, sensors, actuators, wiring harnesses, and control hardware integration.
• Develop and revise electrical schematics, control logic, interface requirements, test procedures, commissioning documentation, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, design engineering, controls engineering, supervisors, and operators to resolve issues and support production schedules.
• Investigate root causes of product, process, and controls-related concerns and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Support component selection, supplier changes, component obsolescence reviews, materials availability discussions, and validation of alternate components.
• Assist with tooling, fixtures, manufacturing equipment requirements, process validation, qualification activities, and production readiness for new or revised product configurations.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to support throughput, yield, product quality, safety, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure engineering changes and controls updates are properly evaluated, documented, communicated, and transitioned into production.

• Experience with product lifecycle support, ECN/ECO processes, production launches, or sustaining engineering.
• Experience with controls integration, PLCs, automation equipment, motion control, sensors, actuators, or industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with CAD, electrical design tools, ERP/MRP systems, or engineering document control systems.
• Experience developing test procedures, validation plans, commissioning support documentation, or manufacturing work instructions.
• Experience supporting high-mix or growing product platforms with multiple configurations or SKUs.
