Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical code regulations during all work activities.
  • Log maintenance activities and material usage in the CMMS system.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all work areas.
  • Assist with general plant maintenance duties as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Full Job Description
Electrician - 1st or 2nd shift

Base Pay of $44.05 (more based on experience)
+ $2.00 Shift Bonus + $2.00 shift differential (hours worked between 2pm-6am)

Ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair. Work as part of a team to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to improve plant reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and demos the electrical parts of industrial equipment and facilities
  • Provide safe, reliable and efficient operation by observing the local, state, and national electrical-code regulations that pertain to the work being done
  • Log time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenance
  • Assists in supporting the company's preventative maintenance program
  • Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas
  • Assist in other areas of plant maintenance as required
  • All other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:

  • Display skills equivalent to that of a Journeyman Electrician; Specifically, but not limited to:


  • Installing and repairing electrical components such as electrical panels, breakers, wiring systems, and controls
  • Bending and installing conduit
  • Pulling wire for installs
  • Installing an array of fixtures
  • Threading and installing hanging anchors
  • Cleaning circuit boards and contacts
  • Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
  • Electrical troubleshooting knowledge
  • Ability to understand schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
  • Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levels
  • Must exemplify the ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated.
  • Ability to demonstrate self-reliance in all aspects of maintenance
  • Excellent customer service skills such as problem solving, timeliness, and follow-up- required
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to enhance PM and PDM maintenance strategies
