Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking an Technician Supervisor (L3) to join our team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile Programs reporting to a Test Engineering Associates Manager (L4).
This Supervisor role will be located at the Eastern Range (ER) and will oversee the Electrical activities for the FBM Sustainment Test organization with support from a team of Electrical Technicians. This Supervisor will work closely with the ER Test Engineering leadership team to provide leadership to represented employees via established policies to ensure that projects are executed within cost and schedule commitments.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Interface with multiple engineering and support disciplines to ensure projects are executed.
• Work closely with ER Test Leadership team to properly prioritize workloads and support all cost and schedule commitments.
• Ensure employee training is up to date, and will be responsible for coordinating recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, work assignments, manage Overtime Workload, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Ensures Production Orders are accurate, followed, bought up and closed in a timely manner, assists in the planning of detailed operating schedules, statuses work performed, assimilates new technicians into the work group, integrates nonconformance work into existing schedules and provides cause and corrective actions for closure, and supports the delivery of products.
Basic Qualifications
• Experience leading or working with represented workforce
• Ability to effectively assign, prioritize work tasks and make real-time processing decisions on the floor
• Strong communication skills including technical writing
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures, reports, and engineering drawings
• Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office software suite.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
Desired skills
• Experience with the FBM program and customer base.
• Experience with testing (and associated processes) of support equipment and/or flight hardware
• Exposure to the LMSpace enterprise systems (EPDM, SAP, Automation
Framework)
• Ability to think "outside the box" for innovative solutions to challenging programmatic issues and risks.
• Strong technical background with experience in integrated test consoles/automated test equipment
• Extensive troubleshooting experience analyzing failure modes in test equipment
• Experience in development test planning
• Technical leadership experience
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Proven ability manage resources within a test environment to meet cost, schedule, and technical parameters
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
