About the Position: Currently Technica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as an
Electrical Supervisor in
Sudbury, ON. The role of the Electrical Supervisor is to provide leadership and supervision to the electrical team and ensure that all construction and maintenance activities are carried out safely in accordance with company procedures and standards.
The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:- Providing supervision to the electrical team consisting of licensed and apprentice personnel
- Ensuring production and maintenance targets are met
- Safe and efficient execution of electrical service, repairs and installations
- Planning, organizing and overseeing daily operations to develop and manage sound electrical workings safely and in accordance with company standards and procedures
Qualifications:- Valid Construction and Maintenance 309a Electrical License
- Active member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Underground Common Core Training
- Trained and accredited in the Generic Supervisor Common Core Program (#770141) or Hard Rock Mining Supervisor program (******)
- 3 years of related experience in a supervisory role
- Working knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical equipment is required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Ability to plan, organize and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Sound knowledge of primary mobile equipment maintenance and OEM specifications
- Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
