About Your Opportunity:You will provide field leadership and oversight of electrical construction activities from pre-construction through project completion. You will work closely with the Project Team, electrical subcontractors, design team, and client to ensure electrical work is safely, efficiently, and correctly installed in accordance with the contract documents, schedule, codes, and company standards.
How You'll Contribute:- Provide overall field supervision and leadership for electrical construction activities.
- Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
- Monitor electrical installations for quality, schedule, code compliance, and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Coordinate electrical work with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, and structural systems.
- Develop and monitor electrical look-ahead schedules and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Identify and resolve field conflicts and coordination issues.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and hold subcontractors accountable for schedule and quality.
- Coordinate electrical inspections, testing, startup, commissioning, and closeout activities.
- Maintain punch lists and ensure timely completion of outstanding electrical work.
- Assist with RFIs, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
- Work with the BIM Coordinator and Project Team on electrical coordination and constructability.
- Promote a safe, organized, and productive job site.
- Partner with the client, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to successfully deliver the project.
- Provide field expertise, mentorship, and support to the Project Team.
Qualifications- Seven to Ten years of progressively responsible electrical construction experience, with field supervision experience preferred.
- Experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and installation practices.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable building codes.
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, emergency power, generators, switchgear, low-voltage systems, and lighting controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, and shop drawings.
- Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and BIM coordination software preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel and work overtime, weekends, or be on call as needed.
