POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a Site Superintendent based at a local Edmonton Oil Facility. This is a long-term position, running multiple projects that span through to 2028.
POSITION DETAILS- Candidates must be local to Edmonton
- Candidates must be willing to travel and work fluctuating shift schedules as the work demands
- Monday-Friday (5 on / 2 off) shifts
- 10-hour days
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Must possess a valid Journeyperson or Red Seal Electrician certificate
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Must have previous industrial experience
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES- Update project control templates for cost and schedule reporting.
- Manage Subcontractors.
- Install, alter, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
- Plan layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
- Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, to ensure compliance with codes.
- Supervise field teams.
- Monitors and enforces safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor field progress and report to the Site Supervisor or Construction Manager.
- Plan work fronts and create lookahead schedules.
- Lead a crew of 10-25+ workers.
