ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Lead and manage all aspects of field operations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute project deliverables
- Oversee project layout and buy-out.
- Attend turnover and coordination meetings (QA/QC, commissioning)
- Collaborate with PMs on forecasted hours and scheduling
- Order materials and tools according to project schedule forecasts
- Plan and manage 8-week work plans and track productivity
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with codes, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems during construction
- Maintain accurate project documentation (daily logs, progress reports, material records)
- Provide training and mentorship to foremen, electricians, and apprentices
- Manage all subcontractors efficiently and oversee foremen with clear plans for schedule and productivity
- Serve as primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Oversee crews, equipment, subcontractors, and safety compliance on job sites
- Drive team performance in productivity, quality, and safety
- Recruit, mentor, and develop employees to support succession planning and career growth
- Champion safety by modeling safe behavior and enforcing standards
- Lead and participate in job hazard analysis and safety briefings
- Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance
- Analyze processes and procedures for continuous process improvement
- Monitor and improve operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage project financials, including identifying change orders and assessing schedule impacts
- Manage the planning and executing of projects and contracts
- Perform additional duties assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS: - Journeyman License (required)
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Completed Foreman 3 training and demonstrated competency.
- Predictive Index assessment.
- Competent Person Safety Training.
- PMP training or certification (preferred).
- Leadership training and advanced risk management knowledge.
- Proficiency in Excel / Bluebeam and scheduling tools (P6 required).
- Ability to manage crews up to 100 and full projects independently.
- 7+ years of electrical field experience with leadership responsibilities.
- Valid Driver's License
- DOT Medical Card - If driving company vehicle
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- The physical activity and work environment required for this role includes:
- Travel as needed
- Exposure to a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
- Walking on uneven and variable terrain for long periods
- Sitting for extended periods in an office environment
- Frequently standing, walking, stooping, climbing, bending and reaching
- Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
- Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
