Electrical Supertintendent, at our Halsey facility in Oregon. Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, this role will directly supervise and lead the Electrical Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with a passion for excellence in safety, manufacturing, and customer focus who can achieve results by working with and through others.
What You Will Do- Lead Halsey's Electrical Maintenance Team comprised of day and rotating-shift workers, who are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical / electronic systems and equipment in high volume manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate maintenance execution efforts that drive improvement in all associated work processes affecting EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.
- Facilitate team development and growth, individual skill development, problem-solving and issue resolution, and workplace culture by building employee commitment, ownership, and accountability.
- Ensure Electrical Safe Work Practice compliance.
- Perform Safety walks in the areas to improve employee engagement and maintenance performance.
- Monitor the quality of craft work and provide directions to crew members to build capability and maximize efficiency.
- Track departmental KPI's and report on team performance.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (SAP) to schedule work.
- Work closely with Operations Leaders, Technical Team, Electrical Planner, and Facilities / Utilities Engineer to ensure safe working environments, address issues, execute maintenance services, and improve the reliability and efficiency of assets.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- 2 years supervising maintenance technicians.
- Minimum 5 years' electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings, including at least
- Hands-on experience with single- and three-phase systems up to 2300 V; electrical controls, PLCs, AC/DC motor controllers and drives.
- Experience with CMMS (SAP preferred), MS Word/Excel.
- Experience in leading improvement efforts in Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
What Will Put You Ahead - Associate degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, or related technical field preferred.
- Possess a Signing Supervisor's License or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or other similar problem-solving tools.
- Required safety training: NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety, and OSHA 10/30 (or site-specific equivalents).
- Proficient reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
