YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

TEICON ENGINEERING is currently hiring for a large-scale industrial process plant construction project in Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan area. We are seeking site-based professionals for immediate engagement to support active execution activities within a complex industrial environment.
  • Project Location: Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan area, Texas
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or independent contractor (1099)
  • Duration: Up to one year, with the option to extend

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on site within an industrial plant environment.
  • Ensure that electrical works are executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and site crews, including daily task planning, progress monitoring, and workforce supervision.
  • Interface closely with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Civil to ensure smooth execution and interface management.
  • Monitor installation quality, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Support inspection activities, system walk-downs, and handover processes in preparation for pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  • Track work progress and report status, issues, and risks to site management in a structured and transparent manner.
  • Support resolution of technical and execution-related issues on site in coordination with engineering and project teams.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a completed technical education or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Power Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field, or you are a qualified electrical tradesperson with strong site supervision experience in industrial projects.
  • You have several years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or Electrical Foreman in industrial plant construction or heavy industrial projects.
  • You are familiar with electrical installations in industrial environments, including power distribution, cabling, grounding, and electrical equipment installation.
  • You have solid experience working with subcontractors and multicultural site teams.
  • You are confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • You demonstrate a strong safety mindset and are experienced in working under strict HSE regulations.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in English; additional language skills are an advantage but not required.
  • You are willing and able to work on site in the United States for the full project duration, including extended working hours if required.
