Title: Electrical Project Manager III
Location: Lees Summit, MO
Division: Enerfab Power & Industrial
Reports To: General Manager - Electrical
Salary Range: $150,000 to $170,000

The Project Manager III is responsible for the comprehensive management and successful execution of complex industrial construction projects. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, budget control, client relationship management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor project management teams, including Project Managers and Coordinators, providing guidance and support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related decisions and escalations.
Project Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop project strategies, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets, for large-scale projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and success criteria.
Resource Management:
  • Manage and allocate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
  • Oversee subcontractor selection and coordination, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
Budget and Cost Control:
  • Create and manage project budgets for complex projects, continuously monitoring and controlling project costs.
  • Evaluate and implement cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders.
Scheduling and Timeline Management:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for large-scale projects, using industry-standard scheduling software.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively address delays, and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and oversee rigorous quality control processes to ensure construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Document and resolve complex quality-related issues.
Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks at a strategic level, ensuring overall project success.
  • Develop and maintain risk mitigation plans and monitor risk factors.
Client Relations:
  • Serve as the primary client interface for large-scale projects, managing client expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Address complex client inquiries, issues, and change requests effectively.
Project Reporting:
  • Prepare and distribute comprehensive project status reports, performance metrics, and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings, present status, and provide strategic recommendations.
Contract Management:
  • Review, negotiate, and manage project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to manage contractual aspects and resolve complex disputes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in Electrical Project Management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale industrial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in advanced project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
