POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or more electrical construction projects. This role involves managing planning, execution, budgeting, and team performance while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a seasoned electrical construction professional who is comfortable working across multiple project types and is willing to travel to project sites as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine labor, materials, and timelines
- Resolve project discrepancies through analysis and coordination
- Communicate with internal teams, contractors, and clients for effective project execution
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets
- Monitor progress and report on status, variances, and financial performance
- Lead project meetings and maintain client relationships
- Implement change management processes and issue change orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with contract documents and construction standards
- Travel to project sites as required to support project execution, client meetings, and field operations; this role may require regional or national travel depending on active project assignments
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of electrical project management experience
- Experience in Industrial, Commercial, Data Center, and Renewable Energy projects
- Proficient in estimating software such as McCormick, Accubid, or similar
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license required; must be able and willing to travel as needed based on project demands
- Must pass drug screening and background check
TRAVEL
This position requires the ability to travel for work as needed. Travel may vary depending on active project assignments and could include regional or national job sites. Candidates must be comfortable with a flexible travel schedule and able to respond to project needs accordingly.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces at job sites
- Use of PPE including hard hats, boots, eye and hearing protection
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and loud environments
