Job Title: Electrical Project Foreman (FT)

Compensation: $38-$42/Hour (depending on experience)

Overview:

Colorado Lighting (CLI Services) is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Foreman to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical project execution-ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and customer satisfaction. You will lead projects from initial planning through closeout, coordinating teams, materials, and schedules to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish.
  • Daily field work minimal 80% most weeks.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm schedules, address installation concerns, and ensure satisfaction upon completion.
  • Assist in sourcing materials and coordinating with the purchasing department for updates.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to load/unload vehicles and ensure materials/tools are ready for the install team; occasional job site deliveries may be required.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including punch walk reports and data input.
  • Oversee daily work order management.
  • Create and manage project timelines and schedules.
  • Lead project closeout processes.
  • Take detailed notes during customer and project meetings.
  • Respond to customer feedback and manage any necessary resubmittals or revisions.
  • Provide project updates and reports to customers.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team environment.
  • Local utility coordination for site meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Required: Current Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
  • Computer software experience: Outlook, Excel and/or dispatching software.


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience in commercial electrical work.
  • Operating underground locating equipment a plus.
  • Proficient in the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Working Environment:

Electricians in the field must possess high physical stamina, strength, and agility, typically requiring the ability for overhead lifting, up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Daily tasks involve bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periods while utilizing fine motor skills for wiring. Key physical requirements include:

  • Strength & Stamina - Frequently lifting, pulling and pushing materials (conduit cable) up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual Dexterity - Excellent hand-eye coordination for delicate wiring, handling small objects, and using hand tools.
  • Mobility & Balance - Climbing ladders, scaffolding, and poles, along with crawling in tight spaces like crawlspaces or attics.
  • Visual Acuity & Color Vision - Ability to distinguish color-coded wires (critical for safety and perform close-up work.
  • Endurance - standing or kneeling for long durations and working varied, often uncomfortable, weather conditions.
