Electrical Project Engineer The company is currently recruiting to place Project Engineers at upcoming, large-scale jobsites for our Electrical division
Job Summary The Project Engineer is primarily responsible for project related tasks at Matrix NAC offices and job sites. These projects could consist of electric utility and datacenter substations, as well as refinery and other industrial plant electrical facilities. In addition to supporting projects in execution, the position will also provide part-time support for the Estimating team in pursuit of new business.

- Present at job sites during construction and assists the construction team with the interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications and other technical documents.
- Documents and assists in the resolution of technical issues that arise at the job site.
- Performs receipt inspection of incoming materials.
- Assists the project manager and construction superintendent regarding construction planning and record keeping.
- When not assigned to a job site, the assigned work location will be the Broomall, PA office to perform project and estimating tasks in support of projects in bidding and execution.
- Serves as a point of interface for testing and commissioning of installed facilities.
- Travels to meetings with customers and vendors as required.
- Supports the estimating team with various duties as assigned, including quantity takeoffs, drawing revision comparisons, estimate reviews and interface with engineering and procurement personnel during bid stage.
- Works on special projects as assigned and directed by supervisor.
- Performs other related duties, as directed.
Qualifications - Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and good organizational skills
- Ability to perform with some supervision
- Ability to work on multiple activities at one time
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and MS Word are preferred.
- Additional engineering, modeling or estimating software skills a plus.
