Position Overview

We're seeking a Texas Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join A Team Home Services as an Electrical Installer.

This is a production and installation-focused role. You'll primarily complete electrical work that has already been sold and scoped by our Service Electricians, Remodel and Handyman team.

You'll work on residential and light commercial projects throughout the Greater Austin area, completing electrical installations, upgrades, replacements, and project work safely, efficiently, and to A Team's quality standards. If you enjoy putting your electrical skills to work in the field, completing quality installations, and moving projects from sold to done, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Production

• Complete residential and light commercial electrical installation work
• Install wiring, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, breakers, panels, and other electrical equipment
• Complete electrical upgrades, replacements, and project-based installations
• Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, wiring diagrams, and project scopes
• Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
• Identify job-site issues or scope changes and communicate them to the appropriate team member

Project Execution & Teamwork

• Coordinate with Service Electricians, Service Carpenter & Handyman and Remodel technicians, service managers and other team members
• Review project scope and materials before and during installation
• Help guide and support electrical apprentices when appropriate
• Communicate professionally with customers while working in occupied homes and businesses
• Keep projects organized and moving toward timely completion
• Maintain a professional representation of A Team Home Services on every job

Safety & Quality

• Follow NEC, OSHA, PPE, lockout/tagout, and company safety protocols
• Ensure completed work meets applicable electrical codes, regulations, plans, and company quality standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Properly maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and assigned inventory
• Track materials and complete required project documentation

What You Bring

• Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
• Residential and/or light commercial electrical installation experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods, NEC requirements, and safety protocols
• Ability to read electrical plans, diagrams, specifications, and project scopes
• Ability to complete quality electrical work efficiently and independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work effectively with apprentices and other trades
• Professional communication skills
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug and background checks
• Basic comfort with computers and mobile technology
• Microsoft Office experience preferred
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and follow all safety protocols

Compensation

• Guaranteed Pay: Guaranteed earnings during your first 90 days while training and ramping into commission
• Commission Plan:$70,000-$100,000+ annual earning potential
• Signing & Retention Bonus: Up to $5,000, depending on license, experience, and qualifications
• Bonus installments are earned at established employment milestones and are subject to continued employment and the eligibility requirements outlined in the offer letter
