This position reports daily to Rocky Mount, VA
YOUR NEW ROLE:As our
Electrical Install Manager, you'll take ownership of the electrical installation process from scheduling through completion, making sure projects stay on track, within budget, and meet our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction. You'll coordinate closely with customers, field teams, sales, subcontractors, and leadership to keep communication clear and projects running smoothly. Your ability to organize, problem-solve, and proactively manage each project will play a key role in our team's success. This position will report to the Director of Operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:- 3+ years of experience in the Electrical field.
- Strong experience with scheduling, coordinating multiple projects, and managing project timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage job costs, budgets, materials, and project profitability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, field employees, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Experience conducting quality-control inspections and ensuring work meets established standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Industry certifications, trade experience, and project management training are a plus.
- Must be willing and able to work in the field as needed, including visiting active job sites.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:- 45% - Project Scheduling & Job Costing:
Build and manage project schedules, job costing, subcontractors, installers, and site inspections; monitor costs and project variances. - 15% - Materials Management
Ensure materials are reviewed, ordered, and available in advance to meet project timelines. - 15% - Communication & Coordination
Keep customers, subcontractors, field teams, sales, and leadership informed of schedules, scope, expectations, and changes. - 10% - Quality Control
Conduct project quality reviews, site inspections, and follow-up on warranties/callbacks while ensuring installation standards are met. - 5% - Operational Support & Improvement
Support field teams as needed and develop cost-saving ideas and strategies to improve project profitability.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:Success in this role means consistently meeting actual-to-budget and actual-to-forecast goals, achieving required production levels, maintaining labor below 10% and materials below budget, in addition to achieving targeted gross margins on installations. Success also includes maintaining a 90% NPS, meeting installation KPIs, keeping callbacks at 3% or less and total callbacks including warranties at 5% or less, maintaining zero customer concerns, supporting low team turnover, and achieving 100% customer satisfaction.

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
