Qualifications

• 4-7 years of work experience as an electrician.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
• Journeyman or Electrician license preferred, meeting state requirements.
• High School Diploma required; trade or technical school classes preferred.
• Knowledge of tools and materials used in the electrical trade.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Understanding of high and low-voltage electric systems.
• Proven skills in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Ability to cooperate effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and components according to codes and standards.
• Operate electrical testing equipment to identify malfunctions.
• Analyze plans and specifications to determine work requirements and repair sequences.
• Repair and maintain high voltage electrical systems.
• Train and supervise apprentices in the field.
• Troubleshoot and test emergency generators and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
