Full Job Description
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating field crews engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems supporting telecommunications, commercial, utility, and infrastructure projects. This position provides hands-on leadership, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintains compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and supervise electrical crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within quality standards.
  • Install and oversee installation of AC and DC power systems at telecommunications, utility, and commercial facilities.
  • Coordinate the installation of conduit, cable tray, grounding systems, and electrical distribution equipment.
  • Supervise wire pulling and termination of AC circuits, DC circuits, fiber optic cables, and communication cabling.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of backup power systems, including generators, batteries, and associated equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify defects, and direct corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements, company safety policies, and customer standards.
  • Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce safe work practices.
  • Coordinate material requirements, equipment utilization, and workforce needs with project management.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, inspections, and field documentation.
  • Train, mentor, and develop electricians, apprentices, and field technicians.


What You Will Need

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of electrical construction or telecommunications electrical experience.
  • Previous experience leading crews or serving in a supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC power systems, conduit installation, grounding, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety regulations.
  • Experience with telecommunications, utility, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.
  • Telecommunications, wireless, fiber optic, or data center experience.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience installing generators, battery backup systems, and power distribution equipment.
  • Experience supervising multiple crews on large-scale construction projects.
  • Hourly rate 40-55 hr. depending on experience


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces when required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
