Mid-Level Electrical EngineerDirect HireFully Onsite, Southern NHJob Responsibilities:Design Engineering for new and legacy products
- Implementing hardware design based on requirements specifications
- Performing circuit analysis and simulations to ensure correct operation over all environmental factors
- Develop and implement hardware test plans
- Designing and documenting interconnects and harnesses
- Observe requirements for design for manufacturing, test, field service and cost
- Interface with other engineering teams, stakeholders and customers to understand the application space and business requirements
- Support Current Products finding design solutions to obsolete components and designs
- Communicate with OEM manufacturers and third-party engineering partners to facilitate design and verification solutions
- Follow best practices and procedures to improve design quality
- Participate in electrical and cross-functional design reviews
- Working hands-on with PLC's, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and/or other electrical hardware
- Data collection and processing, documenting, and reporting test results
- Providing understandable feedback to software and reliability engineers
Job Requirements:- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Firmware, and Hardware verification. Master's Degree a plus.
- The ability to read and understand electrical/electronic schematics
- The ability to read and write simple to mid complexity VHDL code for an FPGA
- Experience with circuit design, analysis, and SPICE simulations
- The ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics (Experience with Altium a plus)
- Experience with common electronic instrumentation, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, waveform generators, and precision multimeters
- Experience with PLC programming, Arduino, or custom hardware/software test bed
- Experience with communication protocols such as Ethernet, USB, Serial, SPI, I2C
- Experience with fine-pitch electronic circuit assembly and rework
