Role Scope- Engineer substation designs for campus interconnection: HV yards and MV distribution substations in the reference design.
- Own the physical and electrical design: layouts, bus configurations, and equipment specs to utility standards.
- Interface with utilities and consultants: requirements translated into designs that pass review the first time.
- Standardize the substation: one design stamped across sites instead of bespoke yards.

- You've designed HV substations: physical, one-line, and protection interfaces.
- You've taken substation packages through utility review.
- You specify transformers, breakers, and switchgear at transmission class.
- You've supported substation construction and energization.
- You productize designs rather than redrawing them.
- Bonus: 138kV-plus experience. Grounding studies (IEEE 80). GIS substations. Interconnection processes.
