Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited college/university required.
• FE/EIT preferred for entry-level and required for Engineer III.
• 2-8 years of experience required depending on the Engineer level.
• PE required for Senior Engineer position.
• Analytical and strong communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and testing of NERC compliant protective relays.
• Perform operational checks and maintain necessary NERC documentation under supervision.
• Utilize tools and test equipment while ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Travel out of town as required for installations and checks.
• Maintain accurate engineering diagrams and solve complex protection issues with guidance.
• Provide emergency engineering support for service restoration as needed.
• Adhere to NERC CIP and compliance policies while assisting with documentation.
