This is a technical, hands-on opportunity working with a robust, cross-functional group of electrical, RF and firmware engineers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Determining feasibility of a design concept through part selection, prototyping and initial design fabrication of the PCBA, board bring up (debug as necessary) and characterization to determine the suitability of the concept.
  • Development of automated test systems for Continuous tests, Characterization, Design verification, and Production of various Neuromodulation products.
  • Execute tests and analyze data using statistical methods and influence product designs choices based on your findings.
  • Ability to write technical specifications and requirements and strong written and oral communication skills to accurately convey issues and information.
  • Ability to automate characterization, design verification and production level tests in C#, and other automation software tools
  • Risk assessment of the proposed design and mitigation of residual risk via design or process controls. Ability to perform dFMEA analysis independently on design modules and systems.
  • Perform design reviews periodically to keep the stakeholders informed and seek critical feedback to improve on the design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute software development projects, including defining project scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify project goals and objectives and ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Design the next-generation architecture of the automation systems with a focus on maximizing efficiency through elements like reusable toolsets/assets.
  • Automate the validation of your software through techniques including scheduled builds, static test, unit/module/integration test libraries, and UI test automation and simulators that mimic hardware and product behavior.
  • Determine the feasibility of a design concept through part selection, prototyping, and initial design fabrication of the PCBA, board bring-up (debug as necessary), and characterization to determine the suitability of the concept.
  • Define project milestones and deliverables, track progress against them, and identify and manage project risks. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and execute project timelines per business needs.
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and provide regular updates on project milestones and deliverables by performing periodic design reviews.
  • Participate in project retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve project outcomes.
  • Mentor and coach incoming interns, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career goals.
