The Opportunity In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead Electrical design for industrial water/wastewater projects, which includes Data Centers, Semiconductor, Mining, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Power, Oil & Gas industries.
- Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate initiative and leadership, demonstrate an ability to mentor and coach others, and have the judgment and confidence to work independently with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Dynamic/adaptable/flexible candidate that understands alternative delivery models such as EPC, FEL/FEED, Design-Build, and Services.
- Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff that are supporting project detailed design
- Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations
- Support business development related to enhanced Electrical services
- Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers
- Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues.
- Coordination with local electrical utilities on project technical needs.
- Review of supplier submittals.
- Act as a liaison between the design team, client and remote design teams for electrical design.
- Startup and testing of major electrical equipment.
- Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area.
The ideal candidate is located in or willing to relocate to Kansas City, Phoenix, Raleigh, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, or Houston Metropolitan areas.

Management ResponsibilitiesIndividual Contributor
Preferred Qualifications- Professional Engineer's license in a US jurisdiction and can obtain reciprocity in any US state.
- 5-8 years in industrial water electrical design, planning and construction services
- Experience with developing execution processes, standards, and training
- Consulting and Industrial Water/Wastewater experience preferred
- Experience in medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, including variable frequency drives and standby diesel generators
- Experience in a client-facing/business development role
- Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus
Minimum Qualifications- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering work
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
- Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary.
