We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for developing and implementing the electrical repair work scope for Industrial motors and generators. This position will also be responsible for developing engineered solutions and for providing technical support for both in-shop and field repairs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead development of motor repair instructions for electrical work
  • Continuously improve existing repair processes
  • Reverse engineer motor and generator designs
  • Interpret design features to determine suitable repair and testing criteria
  • Identify failure modes and root causes (e.g., vibration, thermal exposure, power quality)
  • Perform component inspections and assess remaining life of motor/generator parts
  • Produce engineering drawings and repair method documentation


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Electrical Motor and Generator maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
  • AC/DC electric motor engineering experience
  • Skilled in performing RCFA to determine failure modes and conducting FMEA
  • CAD experience (SolidWorks or AutoCAD)
