Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical experience in oil & gas, focusing on HV/LV systems.
• Proven leadership skills in managing remote facility operations.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and hazardous-area practices (IEC/NEC/ATEX/IECEx).
• Demonstrated experience in Commissioning and Startup within remote major capital projects.
• Ability to effectively manage spares and vendor support logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commissioning and Startup (CSU) efforts for power generation and distribution systems.
• Oversee troubleshooting and rapid fault response for all electric systems.
• Ensure the integrity of protection, grounding, and hazardous-area systems.
• Manage lockout/tagout processes, permits to work, and safety compliance for electrical systems.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical technicians and remote crews.
• Manage spare parts, critical equipment, and vendor logistics to ensure operational efficiency.
• Support startup, shutdown, and load management operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and audit requirements.
