Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) has created this Evergreen Talent Pool post for gathering qualified candidates for a position relating to Electrical Engineer to support the Advance Energy Business Unit at our corporate office in Oak Ridge, TN.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, specify, and support DC power supply systems for electrochemical (e-chem) applications.
  • Develop electrical designs, calculations, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Support system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop process and equipment solutions.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, DOE requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support engineering reviews, design modifications, and continuous process improvements.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience designing or supporting DC power supply systems.
  • Previous experience with electrochemical systems, including electroplating, metallurgy, electrowinning, electrorefining, or similar processes.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and power distribution.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting nuclear, national laboratories, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with process equipment used in electrochemical or metallurgical operations.
  • Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance, if required.


Location/Work Arrangement:
  • Schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday 40-hour week.
  • This position is Hybrid in Oak Ridge, TN, or Remote.
