We are looking for an Electrical Designer to join #TeamBergmann in our Science, Technology, & Industry practice!

What You'll Be Doing: The Electrical Designer is responsible to apply electrical project design support. Electrical Designers evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures, using knowledge of building codes and regulations to create/modify designs and drawings.

What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5+ years' electrical (architectural) design experience with specific design experience in the Science, Technology, and Industry fields, including healthcare, biotech, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing facilities, clean rooms, data centers, cannabis facilities, and more . We are looking for an Electrical Designer with a passion for power, lighting and fire alarm design with proficient skills working in REVIT, CAD and AGI Lighting Software.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
• Design and technical experience working in coordination with other disciplines
• Proficient in REVIT
• Proficient in AGI
• Experience working in CAD
• Ability to research code provisions, products, material information, etc.
• Ability to coordinate information exchange between clients, project manager, and project team
• Ability to multitask
• Willingness to mentor new designers and interns
• Verbal and written
• A team player and be able to work independently

Our Senior Electrical Designers also:
• Participate in design development
• Assist in the creation of specification packages
• Assist in verifying all design aspects comply with local code and apply code provisions
• Suggest new ideas and processes, stay informed of developments in practice areas, and view obstacles as opportunities
• Collaborate with the client; act as the Bergmann representative on some projects
• Mentor and advise junior staff as needed
